Our Policies

Transparency matters to us. Below you’ll find the policies and legal information that govern how we run our classes, camps and agency, how we keep children safe, and how we look after your data.

Draft for review. The wording below is placeholder scaffolding to show structure and coverage. It must be reviewed and approved by a qualified legal/compliance adviser before going live.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: [date] · Governed by UK GDPR & the Data Protection Act 2018

The Big Time Group (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of every family, performer and visitor. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect

  • Contact details for parents/guardians (name, email, phone, address).
  • Information about children for class, camp and agency purposes (name, date of birth, photos, relevant medical or access needs).
  • Booking, payment and attendance records.
  • Website usage data via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use it & our lawful basis

We process data to deliver our services (performance of a contract), to keep children safe (legal obligation and vital interests), and — only where you have opted in — to send you news and updates (consent).

Children’s data

We take particular care with children’s information. We collect the minimum necessary, publish only limited detail online, and rely on parent/guardian consent. Full performer details are shared only with verified industry professionals on a need-to-know basis.

Retention & your rights

We keep data only as long as necessary. You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, and may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@thebigtimegroup.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
